Realities and Alternatives for the Development of Siberia

The article analyzes the socioeconomic development of Siberia and its regions. Two scenarios are described for developing the spatial structure of the economy of the country and of Siberia: the entry of Russia into the ranks of developed countries and a scenario that relies on potential for self-development of the regions. Quantitative estimates are given.
