Research on China's Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises' Cluster Development Model

In China, there are four classical development models of small and medium-sized enterprises: the Shenzhen model, the southern Jiangsu model, the Wenzhou model, and the Zhongguancun model. Each has its own characteristics with different institutional circumstances. This study concludes that the growing cluster development of small and medium-sized enterprises needs competitive market circumstances and services from government and social organizations. Culture plays a key factor.
