Revenue fluctuations and current and development expenditures in the GCC countries

The analysis is conducted at the level of individual countries using a time-series framework. A brief background of the countries' economies is first presented. The model developed is then described, followed by a regression analysis which tests whether revenue fluctuations have affected the different forms of public expenditures in the GCC countries. (DSE)
