Risk management and human reliability in social context

The 18th ESReDA Seminar was dedicated to the actual and important topic of "Risk Management and Human Reliability in Social Context" being Human Factors one of the areas of interest to the European Safety, Reliability and Data Association (ESReDA). The 18th ESReDA Seminar was organized by Karlstad University and by the Swedish Rescue Services Agency and took place in the Universitetsforum in Karlstad on June 15-16, 2000. The 18th ESReDA Seminar on Risk Management and Human Reliability in Social Context was a very successful event, which attracted about 70 participants from industry, research centres, academia and consultancy companies. Twenty one high level technical contributions tackled different aspects related to Risk Based Auditing, Roles of Individuals and Organisations in Events, Human Reliability Analysis and related Research Approches.
