The science of risk management since time immemorial is an important science and a very important issue. God Almighty, the Creator of the universe, explained the importance of this science in Surat Yusuf, and as the Prophet Muhammad, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, taught. (Peace be upon him) with the king of Egypt, when the latter saw in a dream a vision that there were seven fat cows that were eaten by seven lean ones, seven green spikes, and another dry one. Joseph, peace be upon him, expressed this vision as stated in the Holy Qur’an, and informed the king that there was an imminent danger soon in the country, and he prepared Plan to confront and manage this risk.In our study, we give a simplified explanation of the concept of risk management in societies in general and in projects in particular, and an example of that from the daily life of humans.From the above, we learn that risks exist in our lives in one way or another, and are not only related to projects. Therefore, it is necessary to know the concept of risk, how to identify it, analyze it, evaluate it, and prepare a plan to overcome it or benefit from it. All of these concepts we call “risk management.”Project risks include both internal risks associated with the successful completion of each phase of the project, as well as risks that lie outside the control of the project team.
