In this article, the author examines the idea of imposing a tax on robots — more specifically, a tax that would target the lost income tax, the reduction in social contributions, and other costs stemming from the loss of employment opportunities as a result of automation. He looks at different ways of structuring this tax and, in particular, considers how the tax might work within the Italian system
