A developing body of literature inspects factors backing the comparative dependence on effectual and causal decision-making approaches as entrepreneurs and entrepreneurial firms do efforts to start and elevate new ventures in foreign countries. The present study will fill the gap of strategies for opportunities using cognition logics in entrepreneurial effectuation and investigated the trade-off between exploring or exploiting strategies for international Entrepreneurial Opportunities. Our findings are helpful for entrepreneurs to select one of the cognition approach effectuation or Causation as a more beneficial strategy for exploration or exploitation of opportunities for international entrepreneurship, according to specific cultural descriptive norms
