Semiclassical statistical mechanics of simple molecular fluids
Expansions are obtained for the density-independent pair distribution function for two- and three-dimensional molecular fluids in the semiclassical limit. These results are used to obtain the quantum corrections to the second virial coefficient for the fluid of hard v-sphere dipoles and Lennard-Jones (12-6) dipoles. The second virial coefficients for fluid H2 and HCl are also discussed.
