Serbian Place in the Process of Globalization Toward the European Integration

It is clear that globalization and internationalization are the processes that have not emerged today, but what is emphasized in this paper is the impact that these processes have on the social, technological, political and economic rebuilding of the modern world order. The paper elaborates on the current situation in Serbia from the point of view of the globalization process and European integration process. By becoming a member of the European Union (EU), Serbia as all other countries from the Balkan region, will open their borders no longer dependent only relations with neighboring countries and enabling a new openness to the world. The EU can offer a different future for Serbian and other countries from the Balkan region.
