Simulation of amphiphilic polymer chains in a lattice model for microemulsions
Short polymer chains with a hydrophilic head, a hydrophobic tail, and a neutral body in between are simulated by the slithering-snake algorithm. They are surrounded by oil and water molecules simulated by the nearest neighbor spin-12 Ising model on the square and simple cubic lattice.
