Sistema Inter-Regional Sul-Restante Do Brasil : Geração De Renda E Interdependência Regional (Inter-Regional System South-Rest of Brazil: Income Generationa and Regional Interdependence)

Portuguese Abstract: O objetivo da pesquisa foi analisar a capacidade de geração de renda dos setores da economia e seus impactos locais e inter-regionais. Para este objetivo foi construído um sistema inter-regional de insumoproduto com quatro regiões, Paraná, Santa Catarina, Rio Grande do Sul e Restante do Brasil. Os principais resultados são de que existem setores-chave comuns entre as regiões que apresentam baixo efeito transbordamento, todos pertencentes ao comércio e serviços. Existe maior interação econômica entre os estados da Região Sul com o Restante do país que entre estes e o efeito transbordamento é muito variável para os setores e regiões, mas podemos generalizar os resultados considerando que as cadeias produtivas das atividades Refino de petróleo, Indústria automobilística, Agroindústria (Alimentos e bebidas e Produtos do Fumo) e Artigos do vestuário e acessórios são responsáveis pela maior parte dos fluxos inter-regionais de bens e serviços para consumo intermediário.English Abstract: The objective of this research was to examine the capacity of sectors to generate income of the economy and the local and inter-regional impacts. For this purpose we built na input-output system with four regions, Paraná, Santa Catarina, Rio Grande do Sul and the Rest of Brazil. The main findings are that there are key sectors common to regions with low spillover effect all belonging to the trade and services. There is greater economic interaction between the southern states with the Rest of the country than inside South Region and the spillover effect varies greatly for the sectors and regions, but we can generalize the results considering that the productive chains of Petroleum refining, Automotive Industry, Agribusiness (Food & Beverage and Tobacco Products) and Clothing and accessories are responsible for most of the inter-regional flows of goods and services for intermediate consumption
