Sources of Financing and the Structure of Expenditures of Scientific Research Organizations

In our country, scientific research work is financed from two sources: budgetary allocations, and the assets of enterprises and economic organizations. The budget finances work that is of a theoretical nature or has significance for the entire nation. For the most part, such work is done by organizations affiliated with the USSR Academy of Sciences, the academies of sciences of union republics, scientific institutions belonging to the ministries of health, culture, education, and certain others.
