Specialization and Integration of Relationship Management Responsibilities, Access to Network Resources, and New Venture Growth : A Mediated Moderation Analysis
Building on insights from prior case-based research, this study investigates how specialized and integrated network management roles may positively affect new ventures' performance by improving new ventures' access to network resources. Based on two samples of entrepreneurs and their new ventures, one from Germany and another from China, regression results provide broad support for this hypothesis. With this finding, the study at hand highlights the significant role of organizational and management practices for access to external resources and new ventures' financial performance and thus complements previous findings on the importance of personal and network characteristics in this context
