Status and role of forestry purposes land of Transcarpathia in conditions of anthropogenic stress

This paper deals with socio-economic and environmental role of forest ecosystems of Transcarpathian region in the context of implementation of the Carpathian Convention tasks, standards of environmental and economic management of natural resources. Causes, dynamics and condition of forestry purposes lands of the region have been characterized across the following indicators: forest users, forest structure by the intended purpose, forest cover of the territory by groups of species and age groups of stands, not wooded land
