Status of Photosynthetic Apparatus Prunus Armeniaca L. at Changes of Lights Intensity on the Territories with Highest Buildings in the City of Kyiv

The results of the conducted experiment showed that in the Desniansky district of the Kyiv city near the tall buildings, in areas where P. armeniaca grows, the intensity of the natural light of the surface layer of the soil is lower by 4.7 times, compared with the areas, which distant from the buildings. These conditions result in a decrease in the effectiveness of the P. armeniaca photosynthetic apparatus, as well as the early aging and loss of leaves. Results of the experiment recommended be taken into account when cultivating P. armeniaca in temperate climate on the territories with highest buildings in the city of Kyiv and at the development of environmental projects for greening the cities
