Stromhandel : Chancen und Risiken für Erzeuger und Abnehmer
Ziel der Diplomarbeit ist es, die Chancen und Risiken für Erzeuger und Abnehmer auf einem liberalisierten Strommarkt zu erläutern. Strom ist ein begehrtes und wert-volles Handelsgut, wird gehandelt, gekauft und verkauft. Bis zum Jahr 1993 gab es in Europa praktisch keinen regulären Handel mit Strom. Die Entwicklung, die Transpa-renz und die Geschwindigkeit moderner Informationsplattformen haben den Handel angetrieben. Wie an den Aktienmärkten gibt es heute Händler, Broker und Börsen für Strom. Erzeuger (Produzenten) und Abnehmer (Kunden) haben im modernen Stromhandel viele Möglichkeiten, die Chancen der Handelsplätze zu nützen. Mit der wachsenden Marktdynamik gehen auch höhere Volatilitäten der Strompreise einher. Die damit verbundenen Preisrisiken führen zu einem steigenden Bedarf an Instru-menten für ein aktives Risikomanagement.
