This book has been designed for students and researchers who are working in the field of time series analysis and estimation in finite population. The book is divided in five chapters as follows:Chapter 1. Water pollution is a major global problem. In this chapter, time series analysis is carried out to study the effect of certain pollutants on water of Ramgarh Lake of Rajasthan, India.Chapter 2. In this chapter family of factor-type estimators for estimating population mean of stratified population in the presence of non-response has been discussed. Choice of appropriate estimator in the family in order to get a desired level of accuracy in presence of no-response is worked out.Chapter 3. In this chapter our aim is to discuss the existing allocation schemes in presence of non-response and to suggest some new allocation schemes utilizing the knowledge of response and non-response rates of different strata.Chapter 4. In this chapter, we have suggested an improved estimator for estimating the population mean in stratified sampling in presence of auxiliary information.Chapter 5.
