Superradiance phenomena in a nonlinear generalization of the Maser model
In the present paper we consider an exactly soluble generalization of the Maser model which is nonlinearing the field variables. The nonlinear interaction is constructed in such a way as to preserve the well-known scaling property of the model, such that its thermodynamic limit can be defined. We conclude that in this limit the effect of the non-linear interaction is essentially to produce an intensity-dependent coupling. We conclude that the main effect of the nonlinearity is to increase the critical temperature.
