Symmetry and generating relations for Clebsch-Gordan coefficients

A new class of symmetry and generating relations for Clebsch-Gordan coefficients is derived, which is associated with certain elements of the full automorphism group. This approach turns out to be useful for an efficient calculation and tabulation of Clebsch-Gordan coefficients when the automorphism group and special representations thereof are easily determinable.
