Synthesis and Emission Enhancement of Intrinsic Green-Emitting Materials for Versatile Applications
A kind of intrinsic green-emitting Sr 2 Sb 2 O 7 materials was introduced. The obtained samples were determined to be the orthorhombic structure and the doping Bi 3+ ion would substitute the Sr 2+ site without affecting the phase structure. Meanwhile, the doping of Bi 3+ ions would greatly enhance the luminescent performances of Sr 2 Sb 2 O 7 when the optimal doping concentration was identified as 3 mol%. The strong green-emitting Sr 2 Sb 2 O 7 :Bi 3+ materials with excellent moisture resistance and structural stability could be promised for some practical applications. Thus, the packaged light-emitting diode (LED) devices based on the Sr 2 Sb 2 O 7 :Bi 3+ materials with and without commercial phosphors were fabricated, respectively. Practically, the white LED device prepared by the optimized sample and commercial red-emitting Y 2 O 2 S:Eu 3+ phosphors exhibited a warm white emission with the CRI and CCT values of 85.36 and 4185 K, respectively. Besides, the Sr 2 Sb 2 O 7 :Bi 3+ security inks with good water resistance were presented. Afterward, the prepared samples have also been successfully applied in latent fingerprint detections. Eventually, the flexible Sr 2 Sb 2 O 7 :Bi 3+ film was made. Therefore, we suggested that strong green-emitting Sr 2 Sb 2 O 7 materials could be promised for various optical applications
