Synthesis of the stakeholder consultation : delivering more sustainable consumption and production

In connection with the review of the Sustainable Consumption and Production/Sustainable Industrial Policy (SCP/SIP) Action Plan, the Commission sought the views and additional information on a wide set of possible actions and policy measures to improve the level of ambition of its SCP and SIP policies as suggested by the mid-term evaluation of the SCP/SIP Action Plan completed in 20111. A public consultation on 'Delivering more Sustainable Consumption and Production' was launched on 9 January 2012, running until 4 April 2012. By means of an on-line questionnaire, the consultation offered an opportunity to all interested parties to express their views and give their opinion on the proposed policy options.
