Systèmes d'information inter-organisationnels et processus concurrentiels : le cas des places de marché électroniques

The electronic marketplaces, as an inter- organisational information system, are not limited to a simple transactional dimension. Indeed, those having survived the consolidation phase gradually widened their functions and contribute to a new competing dynamics. The latter is at the origin of the relations evolution between firms which rest on the one hand on a logic of “coopetition” between the actors and, on the other hand, on the formation of network organizations more flexible and better adapted to the needs of the firms.
