This working paper found a program that constructed high quality â€œgirl-friendlyâ€ primary schools in Burkina Faso increased enrollment of all children between 5 and 12 years old by 20 percentage points and increased girlsâ€™ enrollment 5 percentage points more than boysâ€™.
