THE EFFECTS OF LENIENCY PROGRAMS AND FINES ON CARTEL STABILITY
Using a stylized oligopoly model, we analyze the effect of cartel deterring fines, taking into consideration exemptions granted to cartel members cooperating with the competition authorities.
