The General Law of Reliability and Classification of the Reliability Laws (Part 1)

We propose a classification of the reliability laws in dependence from behavior a failure rate. It is offered to consider six classes of the reliability laws. It is investigated the what known laws of reliability enter in the given classes, and also them some properties. Using the given classification, the general law of reliability is derived. It is based on expansion of a density function in the Laguerre orthogonal polynomials. The precision of an approximation of many known laws of reliability using of the given expansion has been investigated
