The Implementation of Total Quality Management in Small and Medium-Size Enterprises (SMEs) in Bustos, Bulacan

With reports of successful implementation, many large organizations know and believe the benefits of the quality management system. As a result, these businesses have become highly competitive locally and internationally. On the other hand, small and medium enterprises are minor organizations that implement Total quality management. They do not realize that the implementation of Total Quality Management is essential for the growth and success of the company. Furthermore, due mainly to their small size, small businesses find it more challenging to compete in all areas such as finance, technology, management, and competencies. The purpose of this research is to determine the status of implementing Total Quality Management (TQM) in Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) in Bustos, Bulacan. Specifically, choosing how implementing a quality management system would affect the profitability, sales growth, customers ’ satisfaction, and market share of small and medium-sized enterprises. The researchers used a qualitative approach and a survey technique to collect data. The findings show that implementing Total Quality Management in Small and Medium-sized Enterprises has improved the performance and enhanced the growth of SMEs in Bustos, Bulacan. The study also supports the claim that quality management methods promote organizational performance in large and small businesses
