The Influence of Liquid-Dynamic Noise Characteristics of Inside the Volute Shell on the Viscosity of Crude Oil

This paper aims to investigate the relationship between the crude oil viscosity and liquid-dynamic noise characteristics of the oil transfer pump. A 3-step mathematical characterization model is proposed to describe the relationship between the viscosity and the corresponding water content of crude oil. The viscosity of crude oil is the primary factor affecting the static pressure distribution of the internal flow field and the transient flow field of the interior volute shell. The analysis of actual working noise samples shows that the liquid-dynamic noise mainly consists of blade passing frequency (BPF) and the low-order harmonics of BPF. In view of the actual situation that the water content of crude oil is significantly reduced after twice dehydration and deemulsification treatments, we proposed a transmit method by heating up the pre-stable and post-stable crude oil twice to keep the viscosity constant in the whole progress of crude oil transmit
