The Interbranch Balance in the System of Planning
The development of our national economy in the present stage is characterized by enormous production volume, by high growth rates of branches, by the continuous acceleration of scientific and technical progress, by the growing complexity of the system of interbranch and interregional proportions and relations, and by their increased dynamism. Under such economic conditions a total and comprehensive state of balance and scientific substantiation of all sections and indicators of plans become an urgent necessity, an important prerequisite for their successful fulfillment.
