The PAXIS manual for innovation policy makers and practitioners : analysis and transfer of innovation tools, methodologies and policy
The practices originate from very different regions, but all aim at helping new companies through the practical difficulties they face during their creation and early growth periods. Over the past five years, some 1400 contributors identified and analysed over 300 methodologies and good practices. Some 115 of these practices have been or are in the process of being transferred to one or more partner and non-partner regions. Eager to share their key results with the policymakers and practitioners concerned with improving the innovation performance of their regions, this manual describes the main good practices identified by PAXIS in the areas of policy design, pre-seed and early-stage financing; incubation; technology transfer and spin-offs; promotion of an entrepreneurial and innovation culture and political awareness.
