Thermodynamic properties of a two-dimensional nearest-neighbor interacting lattice gas
Utilizing transfer matrices obtained from the shift operator matrix (SOM) method, we determine the coverage, entropy and heat capacity for a system of simple, indistinguishable. nearest-neighbor interacting particles distributed on an M × ∞ (M = 2,3,4,...) cylindrical square-cell lattice in equilibrium with a gaseous environment.
