TOTAL QUALITY MANAGEMENT A MUST IN HIGHER EDUCATION

How can we assess the quality of education offered by a College or University? How can we know for sure if this process is one of quality? How can a parent do trust that his son or daughter will receive a solid education, intended to develop him/her as an individual in such a complex society, and schooling checks will not be just money thrown on an uncertain future? How can a student rate if he/she receives a good education at an institution where he/she is considering signing up? How can a faculty evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of the educational program they provide? Education is an area of strategic development. As part of the system of education, higher education is the mechanism which is able to give a company the resources needed for its correlation with the social and economic developments at the global level. Currently, there is no single definition of quality in higher education. But by aggregating all notions that make reference to this aspect, it can be concluded that the quality management system is complex, and its implementation at a high qualitative level is leading towards a sustainable and effective development of the socio-economic life.
