Universality of the threshold in the dynamics of biological cell sorting
We present results concerning the universality of the threshold in the dynamics of biological cell sorting predicted by a recent model. The threshold is induced by a “critical” concentration (ct=0.5) of the more cohesive cell type in the aggregate. The results suggest that ct is universal over a range of temperatures, surface tensions, and dimensions.
