Use of the berkeley « Easecomputer in evaluating double integrals
The article describes an eveluation method of surface integrals with a computer which allows only the integration in relate on with the variable «time. The objective of the proposed method is to transform the variables into linear functions of time. In the instance of a double integral, considered in the article, the plane which represents these two variables is scanned, with different speeds, in directions reserved to the representation of these variables by means of scanning generators the output of which becomes zero beyond the limits of the function to be integrated. The integration of the function may then be performed with respect to «time.
