Using National Survey Data to Analyze Childrens Health Insurance Coverage An Assessment of Issues
Most of what is known about the health insurance coverage of U.S. children has been derived from sample surveys of households, although these surveys provide quite varying estimates of the proportion of children who are uninsured. This report explains some of the reasons behind these diverse findings and outlines the factors that need to be considered in designing or using surveys to evaluate the number and characteristics of uninsured children.
