Value for money? : Impact of small enterprise development

Through a range of examples of best practice from within the field, this text evaluates, measures and reviews the costs and benefits of small enterprise development programmes. The authors show that it is possible to measure and compare the costs and benefits of small enterprise development programmmes, and that donors, NGOs, tax-payers and small business people themselves should demand that those who are responsible for such programmes must demonstrate that they are providing value for money.
