Violence in Civil Law

Violence as a juridical institution has been known ever since the Roman Law, being crystallized as a vice in Justinian’s age. It is also known in the old Romanian law and is regulated both in the current civil Code and in the assumed Civil Code and is defined as being that consent vice which consists in threatening a person with an evil or a danger meant to cause a fear that determines it to conclude a juridical deed that it would not have concluded otherwise.
