Ways to Promote Investments in Sustainable Energy Utilities in the Central Asian Regional Economic Cooperation Program Region

Promotion of investment in sustainable energy has become one of the most important issues of energy economy in the recent decades. The paper aims to evaluate the green energy investment pattern in 10 CAREC economies from 2010 to 2021. To this end, the interactive fixed effect (IFE) estimator is employed. The results confirmed that green energy investment is affected by social, economic and financial variables. the openness of financial markets has a positive and significant coefficient. The CAREC economies are recommended to develop green financing market, poverty alleviation, attracting private sector to sustainable power generation
