Web Service's Architecture of the Information System

The article deals with the analysis of features of Web service's architecture of the information system. The architecture of Web applications or Web services involves providing some service which is available in the Internet, through special application. The basis for the providing of such services is open standards and protocols SOAP, UDDI and WSDL. SOAP (Simple Object Access Protocol) defines the format requests to Web services. Data between the client and service is transmitted in SOAP envelopes. WSDL (Web Service Description Language) serves for description of the interface provided by the service. Before deployment of a web application it is needed to make its description, address, list of supported protocols, the list of acceptable operations, and formats of requests and answers. UDDI (Universal Description, Discovery and Integration) is the protocol for searching Web services on the Internet. We considered three technologies that can be can be used to build the distributed Web service architecture: EJB , DCOM (Distributed Component Object Model) and CORBA (The Common Object Request Broker Architecture). We made the conclusion that the architecture of such services is similar to a multi-tiers client-server, however, services of applications and databases are located in the Internet
