Current statistics indicate that Sub-Saharan Africa has no single global multinational company. This is in sharp contrast with American, European and Asian companies operating on global platform and employing staff of vast cultural, ethnic and religious backgrounds. This paper evaluated probable causes for absence of African-owned global multinational companies and provided suggestions for improvement
