The fourth EIONET workshop on air quality management and assessment was held in Santorini 23-24 September 1999. This report deals with the discussions on the current European air quality issues and the work of the European Topic Centre on air quality (ETC/AQ) and its partners in the Phare Topic Link on air quality (PTL/AQ) with institutions and experts from European countries, the European Commission, and with collaborating international institutions.
