Workshop on training capacity, resources and needs assessment for the EU candidate countries and potential candidates : meeting report, Stockholm, 5-6 September 2011

ECDC organised this workshop to map training resources and identify needs in the area of communicable disease surveillance and control in EU candidate countries and potential candidates. Outcomes for participants included identifying priorities and drawing up country specific action plans, and for ECDC more clarity in work priorities for the EU enlargement countries. Future steps include introductory courses on applied epidemiology and country visits.
