Kinetics and relaxation of end crosslinked polymer networks
Grest, Gary S.; Kremer, Kurt; Duering, Edgardo R. - In: Physica A: Statistical Mechanics and its Applications 194 (1993) 1, pp. 330-337
The kinetics of end crosslinking in linear polymer melts and the dynamics of the resulting networks is studied using molecular dynamics simulations. Starting from an equilibrated melt, tri- and tetrafunctional crosslinkers are attached randomly to a fraction x of the chain ends. When a free end...

Critical behavior of rigid-normal elastic and diluted-normal networks
Duering, Edgardo; Bergman, David J. - In: Physica A: Statistical Mechanics and its Applications 157 (1989) 1, pp. 561-564
The transfer matrix evaluation of the elastic constants of random bond honeycomb lattices was applied to mixtures of rigid and normal elastic bonds and to diluted networks. At least three exponents (T ∼ 4, S ∼ 1.3 and T′ ∼ 1.3) are required to describe the critical behavior.

Critical behavior of the Hall effect near the percolation threshold using a new network model
Duering, Edgardo; Bergman, David J. - In: Physica A: Statistical Mechanics and its Applications 157 (1989) 1, pp. 125-129
Electrical properties of metal-insulator composites are described by power law behavior when the concentration of metal p approaches the percolation threshold pc. The conductivity σ, the Hall conductivity λ, and the Hall coefficient R satisfy σ ∼(p − pc)t, λ ∼(p − pc)τ, R ∼(p −...
