Comment on: “Theory of the evaporation/condensation transition of equilibrium droplets in finite volumes”
Biskup, Marek; Chayes, Lincoln; Kotecký, Roman - In: Physica A: Statistical Mechanics and its Applications 327 (2003) 3, pp. 583-588
We examine some aspects of the recent results by Binder [Physica A 319 (2003) 99]. The equilibrium formation/dissolution of droplets in finite systems is discussed in the context of the canonical and the grand canonical distributions.

Finite-size scaling for first-order phase transitions (rigorous results)
Borgs, Christian; Kotecký, Roman - In: Physica A: Statistical Mechanics and its Applications 194 (1993) 1, pp. 128-136
Recent rigorous results on finite size effects for lattice models are reviewed. We consider symmetric and asymmetric first-order phase transitions in cubic and cylindrical geometries and discuss the determination of transition points from finite size data.
