Reject inference in consumer credit scoring with nonignorable missing data
Bücker, Michael; van Kampen, Maarten; Krämer, Walter - In: Journal of Banking & Finance 37 (2013) 3, pp. 1040-1045
We generalize an empirical likelihood approach to deal with missing data to a model of consumer credit scoring. An application to recent consumer credit data shows that our procedure yields parameter estimates which are significantly different (both statistically and economically) from the case...

A Hausman test for non-ignorability
Bücker, Michael; Krämer, Walter; Arnold, Matthias - In: Economics Letters 114 (2012) 1, pp. 23-25
Using an empirical likelihood approach, we show that generalized linear models can still be consistently estimated even if dependent variables are not missing at random, and derive a Hausman test by comparing this estimator to the standard one.

The Impact of Sample Bias on Consumer Credit Scoring Performance and Profitability
VERSTRAETEN, G.; POEL, D. VAN DEN - Faculteit Economie en Bedrijfskunde, Universiteit Gent - 2004
This article seeks to gain insight into the influence of sample bias in a consumer credit scoring model. In earlier research, sample bias has been suggested to pose a sizeable threat to predictive performance and profitability due to its implications on either population drainage or biased...
