109th EAAE Seminar "THE CAP AFTER THE FISCHLER REFORM: NATIONAL IMPLEMENTATIONS, IMPACT ASSESSMENT AND THE AGENDA FOR FUTURE REFORMS"
The seminar will provide a “scientific forum” for reviewing the state of the art and the new directions in economic, institutional and policy research related to the recent and future CAP reform decisions. It will give an opportunity to present and examine views, procedures and quantitative results from specific analyses of policies, with an emphasis on decoupling and its implications for the EU agriculture. The seminar wants to bring together knowledge about national implementation of CAP reform, to make comparative analysis and to provide useful insights for scholars as well as for policy makers, public officers and farmers’ organisations. The main interest is on economics of the CAP, but integration of analytical insights coming from political scientists and jurists, promoting a multidisciplinary approach to agricultural policies are welcome.
