AIID-BREAD conference "Barriers to entry and to expansion in the developing world: the role of institutional constraints"
This workshop will seek a highly interactive exchange seeking common ground between the themes of poverty and the role of access to finance in development. We are interested in work, both empirical and theoretical, that examines this set of barriers to establishment and growth. Possible areas include, but are not limited to: • Government regulation • Access to finance • Human capital access • Corruption • The economics of the informal sector
