We investigate the relation between thermodynamic and dynamic properties of an associating lattice gas (ALG) model. The ALG combines a two-dimensional lattice gas with particles interacting through a soft core potential and orientational degrees of freedom. From the competition between the...

Using molecular dynamics simulations we investigate the ability of an analytical three-dimensional double well in reproducing dynamic anomalies found experimentally and by computational models in liquid water. We find anomalous behavior in the stable region of the phase diagram if the outer...

We present a simple model for the formation of a DNA-surfactant complex and we show that correlational effects relevant for multivalent ions enhance the association. Our results suggest that divalent amphiphiles might be a good vehicle for gene therapy.
