В статье рассматривается проблемное поле научных работ, посвященных изучению особенностей деятельности оперного режиссера. Art opera director is considered one of the most difficult types of musical theater. Its main development in the twentieth century is a testament tothis.Thus, the main aim of the work is to examine the problem field of research about the features of an opera director.The article discusses the activities of the Stanislavsky and Nemirovich -Danchenko, who developed the principles of true and artistically convincingtransmission on stage «as the inner life», thereby laying the foundation for the development of directing as a heavy component of the translationstage of the artwork.After researching a number of scientific approaches, we concluded that current research practice requires as generalizations, theoretical studies,as well as new research aimed at understanding the creative contribution of each individual director and artist in the art of the processes that occurat the moment in musical theater and culture.
