Раскрывается значение образования в общественно-экономической жизни страны и его рост в условиях глобализации; сущность,состояние ресурсного потенциала образовательной сферы Украины и ее структуры. Показано их влияние на повышение качестваобразования, на улучшение подготовки кадров. Обосновываются пути как дальнейшего наращивания ресурсного потенциала высшегообразования, так и улучшения его использования. The aim of our research is to find ways to improve the quality of training, including by improving the resource potential of this sector. The significance of education is in the socio-economic life of the country and its growth in the face of globalization, the essence, the state of the resource potential of the education sector of Ukraine and its structure. It is displayed their impact on improving the quality of education and improving training. Justified as a way of further increasing the resource potential of higher education and improve its use.To ensure efficient use of the resource potential of higher education as an important factor in improving its quality must first adhere to the following principles: ensuring access to higher education, structural changes in the system of higher education, expanding public participation in its development, diversification of financial security, the creation of new incentive systems development training courses and educational programs; motivation faculty to improve teaching and methodological support, development of new courses and training programs for the innovation economy, etc.All this should help improve the competitiveness of graduates of Ukrainian universities in the labor market.
