A generalization of Faxén's theorem to nonsteady motion of an almost spherical drop in an arbitrary flow of a compressible fluid

A generalization of Faxén's theorem for the force on a rigid sphere is given to the case of nonsteady motion of an almost spherical viscous drop in an arbitrary flow of a compressible fluid, based on a generalization of a reciprocal theorem.
